Job Role: GAP Careers Student Engagement Assistant

Department: Careers and Employability Service 

Location: Luton Campus 

Salary: £12.01 per hour 

Hours: 22.5 hours per week (October 2024 – April 2025)

To be eligible to apply you must be a graduate who received an Undergraduate Honours degree from the University of Bedfordshire between January – July 2024. 

 

About the Careers Student Engagement Assistant placement

Do you want to support students throughout their journey at University and enhance the student and graduate experience?

If you answered ‘Yes’ to the above questions, this role could be for you! 

Working with the Careers Team you will support the delivery of research calls to support new and current students throughout their time at the University of Bedfordshire. 

You will also support the administrative functions of the Careers team, and work closely with the Graduate Skills and Projects Administrator and the Graduate Progression Assistant to promote the range of ongoing careers support available to graduates.

Eligibility

The GAP is open to any graduate who undertook an undergraduate (BA/BSc/BEng/LLB) course at the University of Bedfordshire on either a full or a part time basis, and were awarded their honours degree between January and July 2024.

You will not be eligible to apply if you are currently or will be undertaking any postgraduate study at the University of Bedfordshire or another university during the period of the placement.

We are not able to accept applications from current registered students at the University of Bedfordshire.
